Pollen Street, Thames

Pollen Street is a new 300m² single-level office building, purpose-built for a Government agency in Thames.

The exterior is defined by a protective canopy that sweeps around the corner and extends into the standing seam cladding above. A light brick base is punctuated by generous full-height glazing, giving the building an open, civic presence. Designed with resilience in mind, the building is raised above potential flood levels.

Inside, the layout is tailored to a specific brief — accommodating both staff and client requirements across a single, efficient floor plate. The finishes palette is functional and considered, balancing the practical demands of a public sector workplace with a quality of finish that reflects the building's civic purpose.
